Here's the key phrase: " Allergic Hepatitis/Idiopathic Hepatic Failure "

and if you look through the PDR, all drugs present with potential

allergic responses. People are often allergic to antibiotics with

lethal results! I think that Accolate and Singulair are quite safe

medications, and there's a new leukotriene coming out soon, I

believe. They can be life-savers for asthmatics, and no, I don't

have stock in the company. In fact I don't tolerate either of these,

they give me severe headaches. I am on theophylline and nebulize

several times daily- that's my maintainance routine in add'n to

cortisone and Advair. I have a niece who has been on Singulair since

it was first on the market and is doing very well... finished

college, works full-time & has stayed out of the hospital all these

years.

I'd urge you to discuss your concerns with your physician.

simultaneously.

Question, with my asthma, should I be seeing a pullmary doctor

instead of my allergist, along with my regular doctor? Has anyone been suggested this to?

-- RE: singulair

It appears to be a good medicine for many allergy-related problems. It has helped my colitis and asthma.

Folks,

My doc believes I have asthma and wants me to try taking singulair. If you have taken the medicine I would be happy hearing your experiences. How effective was it for you? How long did it take to begin helping? etc.

Hi,

Is Singulair most effective than Inhaled corticosteroid

steroid? I thought the first line drug for asthma is ICS,

how does it better than ICS? In terms cost or interms of better

asthma control with fewer sideeffects? anybody has anyidea regarding

this

Many Greetings,

Senthil Kumar.S.
