Guest guest
Well I seem to have survived the Broncoscopy ( unless I am a ghost :-) My bloodpressure stayed steady at 110 over 70 for the entire hospital stay. The use of some meditation tapes paid off. About the only really freaky part was when they rinsed my lungs a few times and I breathed oxygenated liquids and just literally breathed those liquids up and out. But it was a struggle to breath the liquid out. I can still feel the sore throat and sore chest from where the tubes were they stuck the oxygen tube through the left nostril and the camera went down the right ). If I had thought to bring a blank video tape I could have copied my inside view from the VCR monitor system. It was not totally unpleasant, but I was pretty high but I was awake all the time. One side effect of the drugs is dilated pupils ( Bedroom Eye syndrome :-) Anyway, apart from being as high as a Space cadet, I seem to suffer no ill effects other than pain and agony :-) . ****************************************** Milton |santeri@... | ----------------------------------------------------------- http://www.eisa.net.au/~santeri =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
