Guest guest
Valtrex needs to be given sometimes for months or even years, as it is not viricidal, but virisuppressive (that's why it is a very safe medication - the viricidal ones have to be given in a hospital with available life-support equipment near-by). For a 7 year old I would suggest 1000mg twice daily. BTW, I have a patient who just returned to Malaysia and wants to know the name of one of the doctors over there who took my training. Quite a few have now - do you know who is actively treating patients (many come to find out how to treat their own child but do not use DAN! in their practice.) Thanks for help on this one. Guest guest
Dear listmates, does anyone know if it is natural to have more hyperactivity, compulsive behaviour and stimmings after the first days of Valtrex? Thanks a lot Sophia (mum to Haralampos, 7 years old)
Guest guest
Shari, thanks a lot for the reply. We used malic acid for aluminum removal for about three months and have stopped now. I will wait a few days and then switch to Famvir if regression in behavior and stimming continues. All the best Sophia Valtrex > > > Dear listmates, > > does anyone know if it is natural to have more hyperactivity, compulsive behaviour and stimmings after the first days of Valtrex? > > > Thanks a lot > > Sophia (mum to Haralampos, 7 years old) > >
