Typically patients with IC don’t test positive for infection but I was treated with antibiotics for it initially. Since it’s not an infection, antibiotics don’t help. It’s definitely worth asking your doctor about.

No I've never been checked for interstital Cystitis but now I will tell my Doctor, thank you.
