Guest guest
All alfter a long afternoon I have finally found a support froup for ASthma. May i share with you a bit of history about my self. I first got Asthma in 1955 at the age of five. All was well and I was treated with a reliver spray and a steriod inhalers, that was until 1994 when i got Atrial fibrillation. I noticed that when I took a steriod drug such as Pulmicort or Fliotide I became short of breath. This was put down to heart medicaions interactions. I am now off ofall heart medication with the exception of Thyroxin ( I lost my thyriod gland due to Amiodarone. I have also come of All heart drugs as I have had a procudure to cure my AF. I now find that when taking any of the steriods medicaions I become short of breath an get pains in my back. This last for around 40 hrs I have to stop the inhalaers. The drs tell me I am crazy and that Steriods meds cannot cause this, I am at wits ends as I need some form of meds to help me. Any ideas. I am in the uk so if any body knows of a good dr I would love to hear from them best regards C
