Guest guest
A swollen lymph gland isn't anything to be concerned about as long as it doesn't become a permanent thing... It's just a sign your body is doing what it's supposed to do. Gently massaging it towards the heart, or using a trampoline can help. Guest guest
One swollen lymph gland I had was on the left side of my neck. It was hard as a rock. I went to the family doctor, and then to a general surgeon. Both told me that it was merely a " scarred " like node that had been filled with repeated infections from ear, nose, and throat infections of the past that it simply would never go down. They assured me it was benign, and that it was harmless. That was about 2 years ago. When I had my explant surgery, within 24 hrs. of the implants being removed, that hard, so-called scarred lymph node began to drain. My left breast was the more difficult one, and the implants themselves had shifted some and I could feel the implants under the skin under my left breast. It had the more difficult time before and after surgery. So, is it normal? Most doctors would tell you sure thing, no problem, all benign. Is it related to implant problems? Mine was, and I will only speak for ME and my experience. My node was larger than a pea, and hard and frightening, because I thought it was a tumor or something. I can just barely barely find it now, and it continues to heal. Jackie
Guest guest
Don't you just love the way these doctors concoct stories to explain things? I've lost faith in most of them! What if the node had been malignent? Do they just say " Oops? " I'm thrilled you are getting better so quickly after your explant. . . You're going to do fine! Guest guest
Oh: I have had those several times over the years too--and gone to the doc about it. It is common after an infection (like bronchitis). It should go down soon. Guest guest
Yep! Kenda the size of a pea on the side of my neck from having/getting over brochitis?
