Guest guest
, it was another one, never seen her before. Its all very hard I have decided. When I first saw my surgeon I chatted to him about that dreadful "diet" word. He agreed with me totally that someone with my track record should never have to "diet" again, the sweet man... he tried to assure me that this whole procedure was not about dieting, but about life and changing the eating habits from large helpings of food, to smaller helpings and trying to stop the take away food urges... you know, the macca's and kfc type foods. Well, I have done my best. I have given up pizza, kfc, maccas etc. My take away food has changed to pasta's, bbq and salad etc. Today's dietitian... another skinny minny (really skinny) who told me I needed to diet. I need to change the types of calories I consume... same old sh1t... different dietitian, really has no understanding of what got me here or how to get me back to 25 years ago. The same old thing, I can loose weight, I just have to make better food choices. Heard it all before, and as I said to her, if I could make those better food choices, would I be sitting here in front of you with a band inside me????? P-lease! Mel >> > Well Mel you can always give it a try, if it bothers you we go back. > Simple! Then we catch the train back across and go the Rocks that way -> because I aint missing out on lunch and an ice cream, LOL.> > Good on you for giving the dietician a go, was it the one you thought> you were going to meet - the nicer one? It's going to be tough for> two weeks, granted. But at least at the end of that time you will know> something - and its going to be good news. So from there you would be> able to start introducing a bit more into your diet and the scales will> be going in the right direction for sure!> > Nx>
