Guest guest
Thank you for the responses! I had my children after my implantation and I breastfed all three. Unfortunately I went through three bedridden pregnancies with no known cause for my feeling so ill throughout the pregnancies. So far my children are happy and healthy. I wouldn't know what to look for in them if my implants had afftected them. Every family member I have told has asked me about a lawsuit. My question is... is anyone winning lawsuits over Saline implants? Mine are so old, I don't know that I even have a case. Of course I would LOVE to try! I did contact Dr. Feng's office today and spoke with them for over 30 minutes. I was incredibly releived to have a doctors office finally understand my issues. I have so many physical problems that I can't even begin to list them. She couldn't believe how many things I rattled off. She informed me that because of teh type and age of my implants I most certainly have the silicone poisoning and most likely the mercury and platinum as well. That was scary to hear because I knew nothing of that before today. I'm now scrambling to try to find a way to pay for hte surgery. Thanks again. It's such a relief to know that I have not been alone. > , > > Welcome to the group . . . I'm glad you found us, but > sorry to know another woman needs us. . . Guest guest
, I'm so glad you've already talked to Dr. Feng! ... It makes a huge difference when we can find a doctor who undestands! . . . I can't believe most doctors are really that STUPID! Regarding your children, thank goodness they are OK.. .. Children affected by implants can have problems that start with digestive problems, rashes, allergies, joint/muscle pain, behavior and cognitive disorders, even extremity deformaties. You would be aware if they had a problem. The problems are seldom subtle. It appears your kids escaped the trauma that many deal with. Hopefully you are keeping them on a very healthy diet . . . very important for these kids! Hugs and prayers, Rogene
