Dear Mel

I agree, these skinny Minnie's only have 'book intelligence' no practical life experience, we just have to pity them. If you deviate from the mean, if you are not a textbook candidate with the right pigeon hole to slot into they don't know what to do – so you are above average, you break the mould sweetie. I guess there are those types in life everywhere. I know you don't want to diet - heck neither do I. I just know that I could do better, get the results I want and be happier if I did <gulp> diet.

The Curves diet starts out eliminating all these things, gradually they start to reintroduce different foods. It is hard at first, but the rewards are there. I hope that this is the case with you on this, lets call it a regime. It will start as a deprivation of everything you love about food, but surely there will be the light at the end of the tunnel, at some point down the track. You will find things get easier as you become used to them, the new eating regime might take some getting used to but I know you can do it. The results will spur you on!

Where do these dietitians come from I wonder??? Do they ever eat bad food choices... are they "naturally" skinny, or just eat good food choices by choice. BORING I say.

At least we all have "personalities"! I am yet to meet a dietitian that has a sense of the rediculous like big people seem to have. Is it that we have had to become that sort of personality... I know not all of us think outside the square as I do. I used to be incredibly shy when I was slim... interesting, I am not shy now. I will talk to anyone, anytime about anything. And, I have become incredibly outspoken. I do not suffer fools like I used to. If I think a person is not nice or a bit or not my type, I unfortunately have the habit of telling them to their face! Not good really. It has gotten me in trouble many times in the last few years. I really find it hard to take any notice of idiots. Maturity or lack of patience, not sure which one it is?

But, I am going to curves now... see how I will ramble on rather than get up of my fat butt!
