Hi ,

So sorry to hear about your sister. I'm also against plastic surgery after all I've been through. I want the old me back. I was fine just the way I was but couldn't see it until I became ill.

My Fibromyalgia was diagnosed after I had the implants. I had them for about 3 1/2 years when one day I woke up from work and collapsed on the floor. I thought that it was depression because I had been very depressed (more than usual) just before. I was crying everyday driving home from work. I went to my psych first. She changed my meds and told me to stay home for 2 weeks. When I went back to see her she told me that it definitely was not depression but something much more serious. She thought that I had diabetes. When I went to my family doctor, she diagnosed me with Fibro, Chronic Fatigue and Chronic Epstein Barr.

I still have the leg pain. When it is hot out, my pain becomes much more severe as I have a heat intolerance.

Good luck to you and let us know how you are doing!

Dear Beth,

You and so many women on here are in my thoughts and prayers! This makes me so angry hearing all these horror stories from these implants! Like someone said that diet drug Phen Phen these too I KNOW will be taken off the market. My poor sister got contaminated collagen injections in her lips and nasal folds and for the past two years she has swelling pain numerous surgeries etc.... they are now not using collagen as much anymore, but she has to live with this for life. I used to be SO FOR plastic surgery but I don't think I'll step foot in another plastic surgeon's office only to beexplanted. Were you diagnosed with Fibromyalgia before or after the implants? A few Doctors have said that I may have fibromyalgia only AFTER the implants. Is your leg pain gone? Hugs 2 you and thank you! God Bless - LISA Opinions expressed are NOT meant to take
