Guest guest
Hi Beth, We've been recommending just that. . . I have the names of only two attorneys who have expressed an interest. Did you meet Dr. Blais? Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
I had a lawyer for a short time who was going to go after the valve failure issues as I has three fail but he said it was too much of a risk for them - he wanted to go after the dr also for malpractice, which I had evidence of, but It ended up being the statute of limitations that killed me there. This atty is in fla and has won cases against Mentor for faulty valves - he had won one right before he took my case (which was dropped) but he said he only got 50,000 which was not enough after all the time spent on the case. I guess he only got 33% and he said he spent that much on fighting it. I got his name from Dr. Blais who has a list of attys if anyone is interested but I will warn you, if you have ever had a rupture replacement you have signed a waiver that will forever screw you out of suing them. sad but true in my case. shari
Guest guest
Dr. Blais has been reporting on defective valves. However, I think they know the model/serial numbers of the defective implants now too.
