Guest guest
Ken, I have tried numerous times on webv to figure out how to use ICQ and simply cannot do it. Now I AM a techno dummy, so if anyone else has figured it out, please tellme. I have other groups on there I would like to go to also, but can't seeem to even get registered. Good idea though! Guest guest
I'm in the process of downloading it now. I'll document every move and send up a message to the list. Perhaps it'll help someone. Guest guest
Ken, That sounds like a good idea. I used to use ICQ for a fibro chat, altho I haven't used it in awhile. I will try it out today. It would be great to have a chat line with others in the group. Kathleen
Guest guest
Ken, I have used ICQ chat for quite some time now and I love it. *S* I can hook you up with the " list manager " of my FMS support group and you can write to her and pick her brain about setting up and managing a member list on ICQ if you like. It does come in handy for those nights when the insomnia or pain won't let you sleep, or for the times when you need to chat " one on one " with a sympathetic ear. They also have meetings or discussions where all the members are invited, etc. I tried to add you to my list by searching the number at the bottom of this note, but it did not sound like you. Please add me to your list. My # 4593089. Then I will send a msg. to the list mgr. I spoke of and ask her if I may give you her information. I think this sounds like a great idea. Sometimes we girls get several members in the same room for an uplifting chat...there are a few men on there too. *S* Hugs, Diane Turbin wrote: > Hi everyone, > > Since ray was using ICQ (a free communications program that adds > features email doesn't have), I tried it out & have been using it > happily for a couple of months. Guest guest
Lyn, Sorry, but ICQ will not work on web TV. Bummer! I use it mostly for messaging back and forth and file transfers. I don't know who or when I've given out my ICQ # to but my new one is 13375212. My old one, 219090, is kaput...my nephew, when he was visiting, deleted it by mistake while trying to make his own ICQ I.D. Feel free, anyone, to add me to your list.
