Guest guest
We're close to being chronic pain " twins " as I have the good fortune to share your wonderful diagnosis..... A couple of differences: It's my left leg, not the right, and only 3 herniated disks, not 4 - or at least not the last time anyone checked which has been quite some time now. I find it interesting they are considering a pump for you - I was told that due to the Arachnoiditis, I could not be considered for a pump implant. It has something to do with all that out-of-control self-scarring we arachnoid-types seem to have. My problems began when I was pregnant - I had my daughter 14 years and 2 months ago. I had my first of several back surgeries and slipped down the pipe into hell 14 years and 1 month ago. I do believe it was having her that has saved me, though. She'll be in college and away in four years. I'm married to a controlling bully - can't say what life holds for me at that point. Well, don't you just love getting these cheery responses back to your cheery message of introduction?! Peggy M.
