Guest guest
Hi Jackie I am three weeks post explant and know exactly how your feeling I am the same, I have never been one to rest or take it easy so looking after myself is hard and frustrating I have two kids aged 3 and 4 so resting is almost impossible trying to let someone else do all the work that I would normally do is so hard. just to let you know your not alone on this and I'll pray for your speedy recovery. take care x -- - In , " crazycanoe1 " <crazycanoe1@y...> wrote: > > I've begun to move around more, and to do more chores and activities. > Yesterday, I did too much. Guest guest
Jackie and , I totally relate. I'm just about 3 weeks post-explant, too. I had a couple of days where I did " too much " - I just felt so GOOD! - and I paid a price: pain and exhaustion. ;-) It's hard to slow down, but slow down we must. Healing is a priority now - for us, and for our families. When we take good care of ourselves, we take good care of our families, too! ;-) Moss
Guest guest
So good to be encouraged by you, , and our other saline friends. It will be so much easier to recover by being able to check in with one another. Today, I will make sure I drink lots of water, and I bought some raw garlic at the grocery; Rogene's suggestions are also helping me...I really look forward to working in my garden in a month or so. I potted 3 little pots of flowers last night, and it was so much fun. I've decided I can do flowers in my small containers for now, and that will promote cheerfulness and hope for ongoing recovery...Jackie
Guest guest
Jackie I am glad to hear that you are staying encouraged! I just wanted to remind you that garlic is very potent and can cause herxes as it kills off pathogens. So be aware if you start seeing increased symptoms that is a herx and doesn't mean that you are getting worse! Good luck. And working in my garden always brings me pleasure!
