Guest guest
Dear , one thing I would check out as it has happened to me, ask your dentist if they use silicone in the filling, mine does and it resulted in me loosing my tooth as I reacted to it.After my filling my tooth NEVER got better I kept going back and back but they couldnt work out why and what was going on, it was only after asking if they put silicone in the filling did I find out the problem. The other thing after the tooth was removed I was really ill with a high temperature and needed anti biotics for an infection. I know you live in England but I cannot remember where, I am in Kent but near to London. Have you spoken to dr Myhill? I have a few times and will be ringing her again, the only problem is she is quite expensive but she does give good advise, she is based in Wales if I can I want to get an appointment with her. Sue. Guest guest
, before my explant surgery, I had reactions to dental procedures. I've not had to go to the dentist since explant surgery, and I'm really sorry you are having problems. I just know from my experience that I had pains that could not be explained by 2 dentists, who wanted to send me to a 3rd dental surgeon, saying, " We've just never heard of this before. " They gave me that " you're really a mental case " look and asked if I were taking other medicines I had not told them about, insinuating non-prescripted meds. So, I'm just a believer that the implant problems I had, including having to have all my metal fillings replaced with non-metal ones, were connected. I know that removing implants does not make my life perfect and instantly healthy; however, it's my belief that the hip bone is connected to the thigh bone is connected to the knee bone is connected....is connected.... Hang in there, and I hope the symptoms subside soon; Rogene gave us the reminder to drink lots of water; are you doing that? Jackie

Guest guest
Hi , Drugs used at the dentist’s office could definitely increase your toxic burden. If you were just starting to feel good again, your toxic burden is still probably quite high. Another thing that can cause problems from the dentist is different materials that are used. According to my osteopath who I see for prolo therapy, dental materials can interact with each other, causing systemic problems. Very few dentists address this issue. Kenda Hi Ladies just wondered if you could help as you know I'm now 3 weeks post explant and up untill thursday was starting to feel myself again, had a trip to the dentist for a crown prep and a filling that night I had the shooting pain back in my arm and as the week has progressed my symptoms have almost all come back including the visual disturbances does anyone know if the dentist could have caused this? I have also invested in a magnetic bath which I had to get through E bay as they do not deliver to the UK am still waiting to recieve it but any advise on the best way to use it would be great. love and hugs sarah Opinions expressed are NOT meant to take the place of advice given by licensed health care professionals. Guest guest
, I am sorry that you are not feeling well since the dentist visit. I do have a little info for you. When you are first implanted you are NOT supposed to visit the dentist for the first two Months. The bacteria from your mouth enters your blood stream and could cause an infection within the breast area. My doctor prescribes anti-biotics if a visit to the dentist is absolutely necessary. I am due for dental work, but have been putting it off. My PS said that I could go, and did not need any anti-biotics. I don't understand this because it should be the same for both implants and explants. That's why I am waiting. You might want to ask the PS if you should take an anti-biotic in case there might be an infection. Hope this helps...Marie could dentist spark flare! Guest guest
OMGosh I just now realized that 1 month after my explant I saw my dentist for a cleaning & my 1st ever filling and right after that all my symptoms came back along with a few little new ones, could that of been why? Wow I can't believe you just posted that! Maybe I got some infection that triggered my symptoms to flare back up along with a weird bladder/vag. infection. Guest guest
HI sarah Yes, I think the trip to the dentist could be at least partially responsible. Did you get a silver amalgam filling? I wouldn't. They contain mercury. Also, any time you are working around your teeth and gums, it is easy to release bacteria into the blood stream and filling a tooth or removing fillings with silver amalgam fillings releases mercury vapor. Also, if you been doing any detoxing? Detoxing can produce increased symptoms which is called a herx. Even taking something like garlic can cause these herx like symptoms.
