: I give most kids two Pic-Mins a day, which would give them 100mcg

of Molybdenum. Since so many of our kids are high in copper, I think most

of them can use some extra Mo to counteract it. This is what I found about

dosing:

Because a lack of molybdenum is rare, there is no RDA or RNI for it. The

following daily intakes are thought to be plenty for most individuals:

a.. Infants and children

a.. Birth to 3 years of age: 15 to 50 micrograms (mcg).

b.. 4 to 6 years of age: 30 to 75 mcg.

c.. 7 to 10 years of age: 50 to 150 mcg.

b.. Adolescents and adults-75 to 250 mcg.

Dr. McCandless,

We're following this protocol (2 ) right now. But, since we're now doing the

TD DMPS every other day, what would you suggest? I'm also supplementing

liquid zinc (45 mg) on the off days. Just wondering if I should bump it up to

3 every other day.

Thanks,

Becky

Yes, I would, and I for one am spacing the minerals out every other day (at

least until the Think Tank where that and many other questions will

hopefully be cleared up by Dr. Buttar). I tried taking all my vitamins and

minerals that I usually take twice daily all at once and got sick to my

stomach. I really question whether it's good for a child undergoing

chelation when they need minerals even more than usual to go two days

without zinc, calcium, and magnesium. Anyway, I'll report when we get the

final word on this from its inventor. Dr. JM
