Hi MJ,You might want to add CS to his drinking water. Lots of people do for their dogs, as it keeps the water fresh and kills critters in the dog.Years ago, I heard of a remedy called Sarcoptic Mange Cure. Don't know whether it's still even available, but might be worth checking.Be well,Léna Okay all, My other doggie who is 7 months old (Jake) had demodites (mange) when he was born. They gave him shots for 4 months the poor thing. And topical ointments. He lost all of the hair on his head and part of his back. It went away and the hair grew back. He now is shedding intensely, losing hair and has skin bits coming off like crazy - geezzz can't remember the name of that. Anyway, I am hoping that the mange is not coming back - I am scared to death of it! He has a couple little scabs on his ears. Any ideas for Jake? MMS too for him? Sassy still running around Jim (MMS seems to be okay with her so far). The first vet I took him to told me to put him down. To heck with that! I rescued him and was going to get him better! He was so darn cute! He is part choc. lab and part siberian huskey! His eyes are kind of malformed and his ears make him look like a bat! He has a really long body and kind of shortish back legs so he looks like a "hang dog" when sitting up. His lips are kind of too big too so he looks like he is pouting all of the time and one side gets stuck on his teeth so he looks like he is looking at a person with disgust! But.....he is beautiful! Such a hoot! So weirdly put together that he is cute! Anyways, thanks all for any help you can give! MJ
