Guest guest
the painful ones tend to be minerals, old salt etc but there are no rules... sarah nelsen wrote: ok, here's a gross question. i'm hoping someone has access to 's skin book or something similar. in the past 2-3 weeks i've gotten at least 4 abnormal zits. they are the kinds that are really hard, like a pebble under the skin, and difficult to pop, try not to! sometimes green clay made into a paste over them can help and they hurt. i usually have some breakout related to my cycle, but these are much different than that. where on the face? body? does this sound like discharge to anyone? the only thing i have completely and totally given up is alcohol, about 3-4 months ago. (i gave up meat a LONG time ago.) also, i've been taking some zinc to prevent a cold that was going around my office (which i am now suffering from,) and i thought i read somewhere that these zits could be caused by metals...? can be - but unlikely to be zonc. could be old salt any ideas? i cannot handle another one! thanks, sarah __________________________________________________
Guest guest
hmmmm, could it be too much seaweed & miso? or from rinsing my nose with salt water in the netti pot? i've never been a big salt eater, but i've pretty much cut out processed foods, which i know have a lot of salt added. so maybe that's it.... Oh, and i always get my PMS zits on my face. Thanks Ilanit!! sarah --- Ilanit Tof wrote: > > > the painful ones tend to be minerals, old salt etc but there are no > rules... > > sarah nelsen wrote: > > > ok, here's a gross question. i'm hoping someone has access to > > 's skin book or something similar. in the past 2-3 > weeks > > i've gotten at least 4 abnormal zits. they are the kinds that > are > > really hard, like a pebble under the skin, and difficult to pop, > > > try not to! > > sometimes green clay made into a paste over them can help > > > and > > they hurt. i usually have some breakout related to my cycle, but > > these are much different than that. > > > where on the face? body? > > > does this sound like discharge > > to anyone? the only thing i have completely and totally given up > is > > alcohol, about 3-4 months ago. Guest guest
Funny you should talk about that b/c I have this MONSTER on my face to the left of my left nostril. It was huge and today better. One night I put tea tree oil, another I put some clay mask on and today it's still there just not as gigantic. I had my period last week so that's not it. salt? very likely. Ilanit, you (I mean I) are/am a wealth of knowledge.
