Guest guest
Dear , You mention grape seed oil but have you thought about using Evening primrose oil? It has been shown to help after some other CNS damages and I use it for MS patients with some but limited success. You can buy it from Herbal Apth. and I would suggest to mix it with cod liver oil (equal parts) and have 20ml a day of the mixture. To wash out the taste a small amount of orange juice afterwards will help. Mohi Rezvani, MNIMH

Guest guest
Dear Sue, Congratulations on being asked to do a phone-in ! It's not as scary as you think. I'm very happy to talk through any media aspects with you (or anyone else on the ukherbal-list). I've been a press officer all my working life, so hopefully I can pass on some useful tips. On Mon-Weds I work at the BBC on 020 8752 6511. Otherwise you can get me on my practice line 020 8675 6023 (evenings generally most likely to get me in). best wishes Choudhury MNIMH claire.choudhury.01@... > In response to an article in our local paper, I have been approached by > BBC local radio to do a phone-in! Guest guest
Dear Sue I am doing a series for a local radio station and have linked the session to herbs currently in flower or available, eg Yarrow and meadowsweet at the moment. It made it very easy to chat informally and I linked the herbs with minor health conditions such as digestion upset and arthritis. also ask for questions from listeners in advance. I found it less intimidating than I imagined. Mention local events where relevant. Best of luck Dilis Clare Alternative Health and Herbs > Hello All, > > In response to an article in our local paper, I have been approached by BBC local radio to do a phone-in! Guest guest
Dear Sue, I did a TV spot a few weeks ago for one of the digital channels - my topic was holiday illnesses (diarrohea, jet lag, headache, sunburn, bites, etc). The media types were most helpful in giving me some advance questions so that I could prepare. I tried to use stuff that people might be familiar with - i.e. ginger root for travel sickness, nettles for sunburn etc. I agree with Dilis that it was not as intimidating as I thought - just relax and enjoy - and remember you know more than they do!! All the best. JANE GRAY MNIMH STOCKPORT
