It could be something as simple as gastroenteritis. Which is Acute stomach or

intestine inflammation. Does he have any diarrhea? Fever?

Even though nausea is common in cirrhosis I haven't read anywhere about chronic

vomiting. Usually if you are vomiting up the yellow bile acids in the stomach

that is because there is nothing left to expel. It's best to have this checked

out by a doctor. Medicine can be prescribed to help keep the stomach acids down

which will help relieve the nausea and the urge to vomit.

I am not sure what it means medically, but for Brad is certainly must be awful.

I wish that they could give him a drug called zofran. This was devloped for

chemo patients. Sharon and I both have a prescription for it. There are many

other less new and less expensive drugs that can help him with nausea and

vomiting. Good luck.

Vomiting Bile

My husband Brad has been vomiting bile every day for the last month or

so, is this normal? Also he cant keep any of his meals down not even

salads or vegies, if he is lucky a cheeseburger will stay down? What

does this all mean?
