Guest guest
Kenda, I'm replying to a lady on SiliconeSupport, but copying to SalineKids The thing I see about testing is that the materials that are tested . . . hair, urine, blood are those that are CIRCULATING through the body. What I think is causing most of the damage is the platinum and other toxins that are lodged in the tissues. In other words, if heavy metals are found in the urine, they are on their way out of the body. So, women who have been explanted longer will have less platinum than those explanted recently. Unfortunately, as implants age, ever increasing amounts of platinum are leached into the body . . . As I understand it, breast implants have a FIVE-YEAR shelf life! Is this crazy, or what? What troubles me is that the offspring of implanted women are showing very high levels of platinum. Their little immune systems are very immature, so the effects are going to be more serious than on adults. If someone were to injure a child on the street as badly as these children are being injured by silicone implants (of all types), they would rot in prison. As it is, they get bonuses for increasing sales! BTW, I understand the plastic surgeons walked out of the FDA hearings when the children crippled by silicone came in! They should get a bunch of " atta boys " for that! God help us all, Rogene
