Thane,

I talked to Matt Wood Tue. We're fine tuning some spleen and gall bladder stuff. I increased teasel 1 more drop, had really rough herx this am. Same happened with blue vervain. Not sure if I need bl. ver. My mucsle soreness is really really good today!!

Just need something to sop up absorb this awful am belly/mental yukpoop. I'm gonna try french green clay. And I need to remember to take wob N before brkfst.

Thane, Matt mentioned ledum for lyme. I looked it up. It also looks like it may help some animals with lyme really well. I think it's homeopathic. Perhaps your doggie might like it....

Hi , I'm sorry, didn't mean to overwhelm you but i know the feeling. Here are the cliff notes.

1.You can try using an alkalizer such as the baking soda since its cheap. But if it doesn't seem to help much, or makes you feel worse then that means either you are not too acidic or you have ammonia that is reacting negatively to it.

So begin with a little baking soda on an empty stomach. If you feel worse then its probably a good idea to then purchase the supplement online called K MAG KG by Source Naturals.

Take K MAG KG for a week or so and then try the baking soda again and see if it produces better results.

Both of these remedies are cheap and can be quite effective... .so in my opinion a good place to spend our few dollars.

I hope that helps, but just keep throwing questions out here. I think there are many people who follow along these threads and are too tired or weak to participate but have many of the same questions we have. So when asking our questions we are usually helping someone else as well.

Thane, I read what you wrote and digressed to being overwhelmed again. Are all the supps you mentioned at a health food store? Where do you buy them. Right now I have very little cash. I'm buying salt today if they have it at pharmacy.so so i wait to alkaline until it's affordable?

One thing to keep in mind, when alkalizing the body, we need to make sure we've treated any ammonia toxicity issues. Ammonia is one of the common lyme toxins, which happens to be alkaline. If we alkalize our body when there is a lot of ammonia present it can exacerbate ammonia symptoms. Supps. like K MAG KG, L-Glutamine, NeuroAntitox ll, or Alpha KetoGlutaric Acid all help mop up excess ammonia.

chlorella from NOW is helpful sometimes for herxes. It's a green food, so is health for us anyway.

You can get a large for around $40. But it lasts...

Burbur and Pinella from Nutrimedix are also very helpful and last a long time--tincture drops. you can use burbur every half hour if your herxing bad, otherwise around meals. Alka seems to go quick, is expensive and short duration, but helpful when you need it.

Greetings Everyone,

Last week I think I had my first full blown herx care of the full moon. My symptoms have been mostly neurological (tingling, heaviness, and numbness in the limbs), and they proliferated in a major way on Monday night. Added to that was a feeling of overall nausea and tightness in my back that was so bad, I didn't know how I was going to make it through the night. Life for me has had to go on with work and such. I got on the train in the morning to go to work, and I didn't know if I was going to be able to stand up. I did, and I even made it through an 8-hr day (mostly on my feet) and a rehearsal later that night. I may be a glutton for punishment, but so far my bills haven't cared whether or not I'm herxing...

I did ease up on my protocols. Took myself off the amoxycillin they prescribed for an abcessed tooth. Got off of GSE (I used to have a slight allergy to grapefruit anyway), lowered the dose of teasel and some other tinctures I'm on. I'm doing better, but the neurological symptoms persist.

I'd like to be doing a little more. I just got MMS in the mail and would like to start tonight. I'm scared off going into full out herx because I have rehearsals and a film shoot coming up soon. So finally I get to my question!

I'm pretty low on funds right now, and I'm trying to figure out the cheapest things I can do to take the sting off a possible herx reaction. Alka seltzer gold? I'm only concerned with that because a lot of my symptoms may indicate that I have ammonia in my system, and I know that the two don't do so well together. Epsom salt baths? I'll throw in another coffee enema or two...

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
