Guest guest
Alright, whose been eating the Amanita's again, Sez here in my key of the Anglo-Saxon Futhork Runes, Peorth transliteration P, and which looks like either a zigzag Pot to do the same in, sideways,(LOL), or a Mad Hatter's top, the other sideways to Tea in. has the description listed as follows. " The chessmen on a chessboard as a source of recreation and amusement (and initiation) for the warriors. " So, as Grace Slick once sang in the Jefferson Airplane song, White Rabbit, " When the men on the chessboard, get up and tell you where to go, and you have just had some kind of mushroom, and your mind is feeling (Low?), Go ask Alice, I think she'll Know, The Mutt doin another Cheshire Cat Grin from Ear to Ear
Guest guest
.... the Ides of January, is also the first day of the runic half-month Peorth - chance, fortune, skilful creation, birth - and the ancient Norse offering-day of Midvintersblot, called Tiegulund in Anglo-Saxon England... Today people passed from house to house carrying the blessing of the wassailing of the eve of the new year... And it is - of course - just that: n (and, hence, Orthodox) New Year's Eve. m
Guest guest
<< The Mutt doin another Cheshire Cat Grin from Ear to Ear >> Ahhh Mister Mutt, starting my day with a smile! Snowing here, at long last. We haven't had any snow since March 15, 1999! Getting lots at the moment. Reality? As I read 's first post, it occurred to me how real humor is, and how mysterious. Why do we laugh? Why is something funny? An intangible reality that cheers our hearts and actually helps is be healthy. How can this be unless it really exists? Guest guest
Wow Mike, Make a few silly comments, and get a whole journal in reply. Not bad! As far as the Cup of Luck, and the skill of a player are concerned, that applies to the Royal game of Backgammon, and it has been a long time since I played that one, I think! But if " back " corresponds to recollection of memories as you also describe, then even though I have forgotten the rules and set up procedure, the principals are still known to me. What I see in the rune Peorth is known to the realm of physics as Schrodinger's Cat in a Bag or Box paradox, metaphorically speaking, a purely random outcome of events perceived, or a controlled outcome to the Nth. degree in said events. Either, Or, as the case may be, but as long as they remain in the bag, there is no telling either way. This then is the realm of potentials, as yet unmanifest. And these potentials could be construed as equal in their respective outcomes, except for a minor flaw, now known to Science as the Chaos Principal or as I describe it, the Madame Butterfly Effect, or, " The Shows not over till the Fat Lady Sings! " Now perhaps Kurt could give us all a more professional expression of this principal if he would be so kind. But my idea on it is that the " Back " part of the Gammon, relates to Memories per se, in that what at first appears as a random outcome, has certain iterated derivatives, which can be used to approach a source factor. And this source factor can then be construed as you or your text so well expresses it as, Fate. Period. Which at that particular point, the Theurgic Maxim of, " Not mine Will, but thine O Lord " applies. Fate being the only immutable substance of outcomes as it were, and is describe elsewhere, as the Seat of Mercy. Another technical metaphor would be the cold hard logic of the machine, as opposed to the purely human aspects of logical thought processes, . A machine can be programmed to conclude an outcome to a specific event now with relative ease these days, but it is still far from being perfected in outcomes in general. Kasparov, the world Chess champion, vs IBM, or the Arthur C. e variation of HAL being the previous letters of the alphabet sequence, in case anyone wasn't already aware of this, initial defeat in a World Class Chess match a few years back would be appropriate to this subject. Some less perfected skilled individual could have probably given that machine a real fit, as its program was specifically designed to beat Kasparov's particular style of play. Now getting back to that Popping sound, would that be " Poppins " sound or " I never explain Anything! " Or perhaps Alice's post concerning, the Age of Aquarius's sign association with the WWW letters of the Web. Hey, if there's no humor in it, then it ain't worth doin as far as I'm concerned. Cheers to you Mike, you know that the Pawn and the Queen have the same structure in this design o Mine! How else would the dear Alice become one and the same in, " Through the Looking Glass? " Dail
