Guest guest
Greetings: When it comes to information about allergies and asthma I decided to go hunting and see what is out on the Web. There is a whole forest of sites, I have tried to choose some that will have good information. My first find is the following: http://www.aaaai.org/ -The American Academy of Allergy Asthma & Immunology. After scanning this site I am pleased to report that they offer for sale 10 different videos. The AAAAI produces patient education videos on a variety of topics relating to allergic disorders, asthma and immunology. Each video is 10-13 minutes in length and costs $25, which includes shipping and handling. http://www.aadmc.org/ - This is the Allergy & Asthma Disease Management Centre. http://www.remcomp.com/asmanet/ Asmanet: The International Association of Asthmology - This is a multi-lingual site on the subject. New York Online Access to Health (NOAH) http://www.noah.cuny.edu/asthma /asthma.html Tilade Nebulizer Cleared By FDA http://www.pslgroup.com/dg/45fd6.htm - an article discussing this appears here. http://www.njc.org/ - The National Jewish Centre National Jewish is the only medical and research center in the United States devoted entirely to respiratory, allergic and immune system diseases, including asthma, tuberculosis, emphysema, severe allergies, AIDS, cancer and autoimmune diseases, such as lupus. http://www.cheo.on.ca/bpd/BPDiflam.htm -- This site is part of the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario [Canada] Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia [bPD] home page. I am posting this because the page I have mentioned has a lot of information about steroid information. http://www.radix.net/~mwg/asthma-gen.html -- This is the site for Alt.support.asthma FAQ: I know it seems strange to post this site, but as part of this site is a second section on medications for asthmatics. Go to the ftp listing. ftp://rtfm.mit.edu/pub/usenet/news.answers/medicine/asthma/medications. Along with medications there is a section on Inhalers, plus a whole lot of other stuff.
