Guest guest
I am wondering how much detoxing I should even try pre-surgery. I have a bottle of liver cleansing stuff and I am going to purchase the Garden of Life products with my next paycheck. But I am wondering how agressive I should be now... or should I just wait to do most of it after the explant when the source of the problems is out of my body? Guest guest
Dr. Kolb often starts her patients out with an anti-fungal detox program before their surgery. . . Not only can it help you feel better between now and your surgery, but you should recover faster . Guest guest
My own decision on detoxing was to be gentle before the explant surgery, as my body was fighting with all it had against the implants, and I had tried a liver detox about a month previous, and I got really sick...just my experience. So, my program before surgery was to follow dr's. orders on what not to take, and I drank lots and lots of water. I tried to hydrate my body and prepare it for even more " flushing " after the surgery. I also took vitamins and minerals that were not on the do not take before surgery list. I'm still in the first month post- op, and again, I'm taking it slowly until I can become more aggressive. I'm trying to focus on water, water, water....and to build a little at a time on diet and exercise...just my experience Jackie
