Guest guest
Hi Jen, I’m sorry you’re sick and hope you get better quick! I’m taking my 12-year old daughter in to see Dr. Leu tomorrow. She is sick again, she is my sickly child. It’s time to get to the root of her problems. She was on a lot of antibiotics as an infant, before I became enlightened as to their problems. I’m sure that has plenty to do with her problems now. She gets a virus after most every monthly period. Something is going on with her immune system. Kenda Oh thank you so much!!! I can't wait to find out my results, I'm home sick (again!) with Bronchitis, I went to the urgent care last night because I felt so awful, I called Dr Leu's office & told Theresa who is going to relay the message to him, I wanted to see if he had any other recemmadations for bronchitis & to make sure its okay to take the Zpak along with the supplements he just sent me. So they should be calling back shortly Jen --- In , Kenda Skaggs <kdskaggs@c...> wrote: > > Hi Jen, > > > > I have my Organix info in front of me. Guest guest
Hi Jen, When my immune system was down, he had me take three immune building supplements, one that he didn’t want me to stay on long because it’s very strong and is used for cancer patients. I snapped into shape quickly! I don’t know if she has similar issues to mine. I know she has my genes. Kenda That's my problem as well only from implants, it has done so much havoc on my immune system. Let me know how her appt goes & what he recommends, I'm curious to know! Guest guest
Yes, Andrographis Plus was one of them. I took it while taking Zithromax with no problem. It’s 4:00 here now and I know Dr. Leu sees patients until at least 5:00 pm. You may still hear from him yet today. Kenda Was what he gave you by Metagenics Andrographis Plus? That's what he gave me for now, I guess until my results come back, but I've only taken 1 capsule of them because I'm not sure if its okay to mix that with the Zpak the other MD gave me last night for Bronchitis & Dr Leu hasn't called back yet, I'm sure probaly tomorrow. Guest guest
Hi Jen, I was one of the first patients of Dr. Leu’s to have the test, it is new to him. We’ll see if he recommends it for this afternoon. He has all kinds of other tests if you ever feel like spending a lot of money. I had all but one of his genetic tests. They indicate things you are genetically predisposed to. One is for your immune system, it indicates TH-1 cytokines which is an indicator of active inflammatory response and has to do with cancer and viral infections. Another portion is TH-2 cytokines for allergy, asthma and atopy. It has to do with T and B cell function and may affect conditions such as arteriosclerosis and osteoporosis. IL-10 may affect viral infections, cancer and auto-immune disease such as RA and lupus. There is much, much more info and these are definitely tests you don’t want your MD or medical insurance carrier to see because they could put riders on diseases that you have never had based on your genetic tendencies. The thought behind these tests is if you know your body’s genetic tendency, you can help prevent disease. For example, my body is extremely inflammatory so we know that I need to keep inflammation down to help prevent inflammatory type diseases, such as autoimmune disorders. There is another genetic test I had, I believe it is for liver detoxification. Interesting stuff. As I said, I’m a test junkie. Dr. Leu doesn’t push these tests on everyone because they can be expensive but in my mind, if I know what I’m fighting against, it’s easier to win the battle. Kenda Tammy just called & said to go ahead with the Zpak along with the supplements. Has your daughter ever had the Organix test?
