Guest guest
Hi there Rogene, thank you so much for asking about me. The past three months, I was So Sick, but ever since Dr. Kolb put me on Adrenal Fractions & Armour Thyroid (I'm afraid to say, don't wnat to jinx myself lol) I feel GREAT! I haven't been able to say that, in I don't know how long. I'm also on (literally) a shoe box full of homeopathics, herbs & rx's, so all could be working together. I don't know how long or if this will last, but in the last 2 weeks I've felt more myself than in the past 5 yrs. One of my goals, the last 3 months, has been to get well enough to even have surgery, but also well enough for Dr. Kolb to consider re-implant. I know, I know...don't say it! LOL No one thinks this is a good idea except for my husband, because he knows how much it would affect me mentally to be flat. I read somewhere on the FDA stuff, a Dr. said, " Body image is as much a part of health as diseases are. " I know for me, explant only wouldn't be good for my mental health, but that's just me! I appreciate you asking about me, esp. since I've been SO SICK the past 3 months. I'm hoping to schedule surgery for June, when my mother's helper gets out of school. We stay at our condo & boat on the lake here for the summer and having her really helps w/the twins esp. when I'm not feeling well. Have to get packing, will be back on late tonight. Have a GREAT Spring Day!! Love, Cheryl
Guest guest
Cheryl, I'm thrilled to hear you are feeling so much better! . .. . I know you were desperately ill when you found our group! I can understand how hard it is to change our body image. . . That's what keeps implants on the market! I just wish it wasn't so! Think of all the women who would never know how bad one can feel as a result of implants. When I met Dr. Melmed, he told the woman who was with me that he could replace her implants, if she really wanted him to . . . but that she would be back with the same problems if he did. . . She'd had enough already! I pray you can find a way to go without implants. . . At least I do feel that your thinking is much clearer now and that you will go into it fully prepared for whatever the outcome may be. Hugs and prayers, Rogene
Guest guest
Rogene, I have become acquainted with a lady on the internet who is having major problems. She had silicone implants for 16 years and saline for 1 year and then explanted. This is a list of her problems: many surgeries, SLE, cancer of the rectum, ovarian cancer, no stomach, continuous weight loss...down to 110 lbs., gall bladder removed, seizures, migraines, gerds. hashimotisis throiditis, litchen slcerisis, and unbearable pain. What's your opinion? Regards and hugs, ShirleyRogene S <saxony01@...> wrote: Dawn Marie,Have you talked to your druggist about all the medsyou're taking? . . . Sounds terrible. . . Whatever you do though, don't quit any medicationssuddenly! . . . IMHO, I would try to taper off of anymedication that I didn't feel was working, or that theside effects were worse than the problem. Somemedications, like Effexor, can be broken down intoempty capsules so the dose can be reduced. At one time, I was up to about ten medications . . .Before I learned that I couldn't find a cure in a pilland that I had to take reponsibility for gettingbetter through diet, lifestyle, sleep, etc. I've beendoing well with only a pill (Temazapam) for sleepingand a very small amount of Effexor (1/4 capsule) forpain. Guest guest
Shirley . . . I'm so sorry for this woman! I'd suggest talking to a good naturopath . . . Kenda recommends Dr. Leu in Tulsa, OK. He does phone consultations, so getting there wouldn't be an issue. After talking to a patient, he sends a specimen kit so he can run the tests he considers necessary. Something my naturopath told me comes to mind . . . Cancer cannot survive in a body that is alkaline . . . My naturopathic doctor found my body very acidic and gave me some products to balance my PH. When ones body is extremely acidic (as all cancer patients are), they can't get the necessary nutrition from their food and things go downhill from there. She needs to get control of the cancer before she can begin to address the other issues like systemic fungal problems. Then other problems should start falling in place. I hope this helps! . . . I hope she has a lot of fight left in her! She's going to have to make a commitment to fight for all she's worth to make it! Guest guest
Lesley, I'm forwarding your message to Patty . . . It was her message about detoxing I copied to the group. She knows a lot more about fasting than I do. Patty really knows her stuff! . . . She just turned 47 and looks like she's in her early 20's . . . She absolutely glows! It's a shame that the modern world is forever searching for more chemicals to put into more products to make more money! . . . Much to the detriment of everyone's health!
