We didn't know had MDS until she was 16 months old. Actually, we didn't know she DS at all until she was 16 months old. She was born at 35 weeks with AV Canal, club feet and a dislocated right hip. She had heart surgery at 7 months old, Pace maker implant 2 weeks later, surgery for her feet at 9 months old and her hip put back in place at almost 15 months old. I did not learn of his diagnosis until he was around 18 mos. old. It is hard but you will find alot of answers and comfort in this group!!!
