Guest guest
I am totally wrecked from one day of work. I have yet to decide if I will take sick leave this week. My chest is killing me. I went off to a retreat style weekend in a Mountain area near Kallista, and the emotional drain was intense. Anyway, it was a nice area and I got some material for writing, and will use that , but I am way sick of fundamentalists of any sort ( even Catholic ), way-laying me by emotionally parasitic events and approaches. It did teach me that I need to watch out for that sort of emotional vampirism. I did get told I looked like Elton .Although I played to a small club last Friday night and performed some songs including a soft Ronnie Dio song, and I was told I sounded like Neil Young. Talk about odd combination. I also got told I looked like a Priest ( although how one looks like a Priest rather eludes me :-). regards from the confused Tasmanian . ****************************************** Milton |santeri@... | ----------------------------------------------------------- http://www.eisa.net.au/~santeri =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Guest guest
, If they told you anything about your performance, at least they were awake. Playing & fundamentalists are very draining :>). Hi Ken, The Friday night performance was separate to the fundamentalist Catholic weekend. I went to a private club with a guy who has CDs currently out and he has asked me to join one of his bands. To my surprise I was asked to play. It was only a small sit down club and I backed the other guy I arrived with on the song " HARD DAYS NIGHT " , and then did a soft Ronnie Dio song ( And Dio is rarely soft, except in the song bridges ). Anyway, it was fun even though I was tired from the rest of the week ( weak ? :-) Regards . ****************************************** Milton |santeri@... | ----------------------------------------------------------- http://www.eisa.net.au/~santeri =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
