Guest guest
toxic pathogens......how was that performed(where)? Do you live close to Dr Shoe. and had him do the test or did you use mail order lab (which one)? How " broad " of a spectrum of toxin pathogens is covered...are there many other path. measured if you had them? Seems to be much more convenient(urine test) than blood test (how about the stability/time from collection of urine till test results done? Thanks for details....glad you are improving. Btw, during all your symptoms, were you ever bothered by sinusitis or allergic nasal issues? Thanks again....Steve
Guest guest
Steve, It was urine test I did when I was in Dallas. I went down there in end of July. I was there a week. However I waited until I came home to do the urine test since I thought being away from home for a week could make a difference. They did blood testing also but test didn't measure amount of toxin in blood. I don't know if that can be done or who does this but immunoglobulin (Ige/Iga/Igm) testing was done and I had very high numbers on all three Ig's for tricothecenes and many, many molds and other toxins. I had pages and pages of abnormally high results summaries. The different Ig's mean different things. I think Igm is recent exposure..I get them confused. It was for sure I was having recent exposure to many toxins and molds. I don't know how to compare these tests with ones in 2004 since in 2004 I just had tricothecene test by Dr Wm Croft of La Crosse who does a 24 hour collection test. I wondered if I should redo 24 hour collection test but this is test Dr Rae uses and he felt results were good. Its clear from a number of tests that I did have a significant tricothecene problem so I think it is better to put any money into expenses of ridding myself of exposure rather than more testing right now. It wasn't comparing apples to apples but results were good so I will take that. I feel better than I did two years ago. Could hardly do anything, so weak. I have been able to put more hours in at work, have a very good appetite, but still have considerable digestive problems, sore throat, blurry vision and brain fog, so not better. Tricothecenes are very hard on the digestive tract, which would include throat. I imagine blurry vision and brain fog are due to vasculitis, narrowing of blood vesels due to inflamation. I want to see if I can get test to definately confirm if I have vasculitis. Dr Rae said so but using thermascan, a new technique. I think I could get ultrasound to detect too. Vascular inflamation can be very serious, affect any organ, including heart, can cause stroke. I would like to have this confirmed by another method of testing. My vision is sooo blurry. I can only read very large signs. I don't know if staying away from mold and toxins will be enough to clear it up. Dr Rae thinks that it is mold and toxins irritating my blood vessels and he is giving me shots that should give an anti inflamatory effect. If this doesn't seem to help, he said he would consider anti fungal treatment but he wants me to try the shots first and away from the mold, etc first. --- In , " shybasset " <shybasset@...> wrote: > > toxic pathogens......how was that performed(where)? Guest guest
I went to Dr Shoe about a year ago last summer and got the CSM. He recommended other treatment but I decided on just the CSM. This past summer I went to Dallas for more testing. --- In , " shybasset " <shybasset@...> wrote: > > toxic pathogens......how was that performed(where)? Do you live close > to Dr Shoe. Guest guest
Ed, All I know is my urine test is better for toxins basically and I don't know which of the several things I did may have helped. I am going to redo the 24 hour urine test soon so I can compare apples with apples because it would be good to know if toxins in urine are really much different than they were 2004 and also to compare tests too. I also forgot to mention that I did *alot* of green leafy vegetable juicing too. Chlorophyll is supposed to really do a good job of cleaning your body, oxygenating tissues, etc. I figure chlorophyl cleans the *world*, so why not believe it can clean the body. It must be important since look how much of it there is! I went through perhaps six months of drinking a quart or TWO of fresh squeezed green leavy vegetable juice, sweetened with carrots or apples enough to make palatable. This also had an impact on how I felt. I don't have the counter space right now to do that but I forgot to mention that it was a very big part of my own treatment plan. What has helped to lessen toxins in body/or urine..I don't know really. I was impressed with test results since I was still in my home. If I had to guess, I would think it was the fresh air intake just because I felt a difference, but CSM is known to detox the liver for sure. This is known in traditional medical circles as well as alternative. I just took sooo very little of it and I also have to add that I am very far away from claiming to be 'better. I took very little of it since it was irritating to my digestive tract and I think that is because toxins have damaged it. I finished can recently and this time didn't seem to bother me much so perhaps digestive tract has improved and I can tolerate it more. I plan to contact Dr Shoe for some more and I might want to see him again, kind of interested in spec scan due to head/fog and the very blurry vision. --- In , Edy Rayfield <edyrayfield@...> wrote: > > Are you better after using the CSM? Guest guest
Jane, I'm going to try a high powered blender for greens to see if that is easier and quicker to do. It was suggested in a book I have on natural strategies for cancer. I'd love to have it every day again...if someone else would do it for me!! Author of book uses the cadillac of blenders, a Vita Mix. I also forgot to mention that I did *alot* of green leafy > vegetable juicing too. Guest guest
Ed, do you take a glutamine powder or tablets? I have heard of it but don't take it.
Guest guest
Are you the person who uses Carnosine drops or something similar for eye soreness? I was thinking I should have made note of that. --- In , LiveSimply <quackadillian@...> wrote: > > Edy, > > If you do a search on PubMed for zinc carnosine, you'll find some > interesting information about a complex of zinc and carnosine that
Guest guest
I was thinking of trying an all liquid diet, chicken broth, green juice, sugar free jello, etc to see if a break from solid food would help. Has anyone done something like that? --- In , Edy Rayfield <edyrayfield@...> wrote: > > I get it in the very pure powder form from Jarrow. It comes with a scoop inside and I just take it about 5 days out of 7 or so. I like to give my
