Anybody qualified for visual mold inspection?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone in this group could help me by identifying

some of the mold types I found growing in my home - there are several

different colors and textures, growing on many variant materials. In

any case, I cant afford a mold inspector at the moment because I have

finally decided to move - however, I am exceedingly curious to know

the severity and implications of living with these types of mold for

the past few months. I have identified one image as Aspergillus, but

I am at a loss to put names on the others. If you are able to give

advice based upon visual inspection, please let me know if you wouldnt

mind, and I will direct you to the photos.

There is no way you can tell *with any degree of reliability* what kind of

mold is somewhere

by the way it looks to the naked eye. Even professionals are often fooled

when they try to guess at a mold's type

from visual appearance alone. I have been told this again and again.

If your health is at stake, spend the $25-$40 per sample it takes to have it

professionally examined. Thats the lab fee. A friend or trusted aquaintance

can collect and send in the samples and fill out the chain of custody form.

The long and the short of it.. I think is don't assume anything.

If a situation is making you sick, get out of there! You are the only one

who can tell yourself what your health is like, and your health now is a

better predictor of your future health than anything else.
