Guest guest
Is anyone using Albuterol, does it help? I had an MCS type reaction to it and quit using it. I thought I read something about it not working for mold induced respiratory problems.
Guest guest
The lung and throat irritation from mycotoxins is supposed to be different than asthma- for about 6 months I used an inhaler- but I really don't know if it did any good- waking up at 3 AM with 911 bells going off in your head that you can't breath is no fun- I also took Advair- and singulair- the singulair seemed to really help relax the inflamation- but it made me so tired I stopped after a month- because I complained of breathing problems, they kept giving me inhalers- while at the same time saying that I did not have asthma. One year out of the house and my breathing was much better-interestingly-having been molded several more times since then- each molding had a different effect- and only one involved my lungs. the things I have stored from the old house bother me in the lungs if I spend to much time in the storage area. --- In , Sue ston <thecanaries@...> wrote: > > Is anyone using Albuterol, does it help? Guest guest
--- It took a year and 3 months for a complete recovery after leaving the house-my lungs gradually became less sensitive the entire time- but I had to take alot of precautions- hepa filters, no ducts, no rugs, leave the house when vacuming was being done- at first for the whole day-but some things never stopped bothering me, like scented candles. while your lungs are healing , even a silk mask will help- they have been discussed here- " I can breathe " silk masks- available at Allergy Control products- are light enough to wear all day, and you can wash them out. > > how long did it take you to get better after you left your enviornment?
