The movie SAFE My Report

I just got through watching the movie so I will give my thoughts

before I forget. First I thought the film was pretty slow and

somewhat depresing. Which would fit if you were to think of yourself

being in that position but otherwise it is slow and never seems to

make any real points or awareness of any kind. The ending is as Mr.

Grimes said it was, all about chemical sencativity being a

phycilogical thing. Although it the ending does leave you kind of

empty and wondering " so what happened.

She goes through several times where she either can't breath, goes

into seizers or end up in the hospital and even her allergy test

cause her a severe reaction rite in front of the doctor. Ironiclly

they had no mention as to what it was that made her react. Either way

I don't understand how or why they took a legitamate case of MCS

or " EI " as they called it and turned it into it being a mental state.

What is worse is the guy that runs the resort has aids and acording

to him he can make himself believe if hey thinks posative thoughts it

will make his immune system work normally. His statement

about " deciding not to watch the news or read the papers anymore

because if he believes what is going on out there it will supress his

immune system and he can't afford to let that happen " This leaves you

with the feeling that they are running some kind of cult for nutty

people who believe they are sick because of something that has

happened in their life.

So my question is why did they take the first half of the movie

setting up so well that she was sick from chemical exposure and then

mid stream change the entire direction and purpose of the movie.

I give it a thumbs down for poor pruduction and stupid thinking.
