Vegans do feel the same way about killing a fish as a cow (or a mosquito or ant)! Vegans try to avoid killing any animal, and a fish is an animal.

Hi Reggie,You were way too kind with your comments on my macromates profile. I know I should have smiled in the picture. I was just amazed that I even figured out how to take my own picture with my cell phone I guess. In terms of being Jewish and celebrating Passover, growing up I was very observant in how I ate during the holiday, I still remember those macaroons that came in a tin can, a not so savory Passover dessert staple as I remember it, but since I have been macro, I really have not made any real adjustments from my normal way of eating for Passover, I know that others that are macro do.That's a laugh and a half your comment about vegans feeling uncomfortable killing mosquitoes. This got me remembering that about a month and a half ago, Peta was protesting a restaurant in my city that serves nothing but fish and seafood. My sense is that many people that are macrobiotic and not vegan are against the eating of animals for ethical reasons besides purely health reasons, but I wonder to the degree they think of the killing of a fish in the same light as say the killing of a cow. It appears that Peta is trying to draw awareness that they are they same thing.
