Guest guest
Greetings Marg: It has been very slow with only a few posts these last four days. Although this is a chronic pain list I saw something on Canadian television that I think is worthwhile and so I am posting a synopsis for all to read. I am not aware of how many on this list drive or have access to vehicles, but this may affect not only you, but all of your close friends. Please advise them to check the level of the head rests that are installed in the vehicles they drive and ride in to prevent whiplash accidents. I was watching a television show called " Marketplace " last night and they covered the issue of whiplash accidents and the pain that can result from these injuries. Head restraints are supposed to be raised so that they are up and level with the back of the head of both the driver and the passenger. If not this could cause major damage to the upper neck and back which could lead to Chronic pain. Most of the whiplash accidents occur when there are rear-end collisions. Once this damage occurs it is very difficult and sometimes impossible to recover from. Blessings' & Peace D.
