Guest guest
Where are you Ronnii, I haven't noticed any posts from you since you were a bit upset last week. Is everything okay with you? Let us know if we can help you with anything. Best wishes, Maree
Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for all your ideas... cause literally I've been eating hardly anything. I've just been having my shakes morning, lunch & dinner & also at dinner 1 cup of lettuce with some balsamic vinegar & 1 cup brocolli. During the day I'll have 2 - 3 cups of tea.... today will be a killer as it's my mother's birthday and dad is making dinner!!!!! Actually I've woken up with a real bad pain in my lower ab area on the left hand side... maybe cause I haven't had enought water. Ronnii XXOO > > Hey Ronnii, > > I can relate hun' , I can so relate. Don't forget the 2 cups of safe vegies though, the diet jelly, and I've been having a Ribena light with soda water, some Sprite zero, and have discovered that Bundaberg ginger make a diet version of their ginger cordial, so that goes down with some benefibre and soda water nicely.... Pyretta told me about celery and salsa, for another snack, and my dietician yesterday said a little carrot is OK. I'm a bloody rabbit! > > I've just outdone myself- I've oven baked 4 circles of eggplant (with cooking spray on both sides), and have alternately layered it with a couple of canned, drained asparagus spears, and some of my vegie casserole blended into a puree, assembled lasagna style....it looks so professional - that Food Porn TV is paying off! > > Keep a pack of Tic-tacs/Eclipse mints or Listerine strips handy, for when you feel the ketosis/ metallic taste kicking in. The hunger does go (a little), although I was still ravenous yesterday- my dietician said I should be over it by now (yup Mel, another celery stick dietician), but when she saw that I was quite Insulin Resistant in my blood-work results, she said that it sometimes takes IR people longer to stop getting the hollow hungries. She also suggested some extra low-carb protein powder in my shake might help - but I am yet to track down some Beneprotein - she said the only way you can get it is you buy it by the case. > > Otherwise, just keep busy!!!! > > Hugs, > > (ashbury) >
