The same slow cooker as I had bought at Kmart was $20 cheaper there. So I bought the one form Big W and took it back on the Kmart docket - hey twenty bucks buys a fair bit of gravy beef! Guest guest Posted May 15, 2006 Report Share Posted May 15, 2006 Oh I missed out - went to Eastgardens today and they were all gone - oh well, I just don't have room in my little place for another piece of cooking equipment anyway - it's just all the talk about slow cookers and I wanted one. I'll take this as a sign - not meant to have one!!! Don't know if I've ever mentioned but I'm a compulsive obsessive recipe collector and at the moment have a bee in my bonnet about a couple I cannot get without buying the $36 cookbook, so today I ordered it and I'm going to very carefully write out the recipes and return the book. Very naughty I know but I don't have room for another cookbook either!!!
