Greetings List and Possible Cane Users: After posting the information

from personal experience in regards to canes, I read Walters

message about having difficulty in finding a cane because he is so tall.

Well, curiousity got the better of me and I went looking for

information. I came across the site I have posted above and spoke to

someone [ they have a cross border 800#] and was told that one should

not measure from the hand. The proper thing to do is to get someone

else to measure you from your wrist to the ground in normal walking

shoes. When you know this measurement then go shopping for a cane.

After discussing canes for a few minutes, the person I spoke to [He owns

the business] said that I happened to call just prior to his plans to

change the company web site. He also said he would consider adding

information on our discussion about choosing a cane. And so it goes...
