Guest guest
, I just finished "Adrenal Fatigue" by . You would like it. Made me wish I had done thee adreanl stuff before the thyroid stuff, although I think it's ALL related. I'm waiting on my cortisol/dhea test results now. I'm considering doing a 5mg cortisol 4 times a day, if the test show low levels of it. I'm already taking 25mgs dhea even though ya'll skeert me off of it for a while. Anyway, they adrenal book might be worth a look see. Ben RE: Re: Low FT4 and Low TSH> Heck, even I don't know what the oinks are. Guest guest
Yes, sad to say, every single thing I've read about adrenal fatigue has mentioned that when we're found to be hypo, in the beginning, the first thing to look at is the adrenals, but when you've been neglected in 10 different doctors' offices, who would have known this? That link that Jan sent yesterday sort of set my mind at ease, when it comes to the DHEA, etc....I just have a thing about sending my blood pressure up, and I know that steroid hormones can do this. I always felt better with a systolic blood pressure of 180/90, but, you know, that can't last forever. Sooner or later, we're gonna have repercussions from that. I don't run that now---it runs mostly around 130/70 or so. If my tests show that I need something there, I'm definitely going to do it though. Thanks Ben.
