Guest guest
I think I am a little behind in my e-mail replies ( 44 in all ). Anyway, My Asthma/chest problems have reached a level where I had to take a day off and force myself to get to a Doctor. So, I will see what I can see this morning. The point where I realized that something was more wrong than usual when the medication was making me vomit, and not just the side effects of breathing difficulties. Well, the best thing that happened to me this week was that I won an IRON MAIDEN poster from their latest album which has been apparently autographed by the current band members. The signatures look real, but even if they are not, it is a pretty neat block mounted poster :-) Regards . ****************************************** Milton |santeri@... | ----------------------------------------------------------- http://www.eisa.net.au/~santeri =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Guest guest
It's hard for me to decide when to go to the doctor too. I'll sit there and say to my self- just another half hour, if it doesn't get better I'll go. By the time I usually decided to go, my doctor is ready to hospitalize me. I finally wrote down the warning signs and I have it pinned to my wall at work and carry one in my pocket. When I have half of them I call the doc. <><><><><> <><><><><><> ~~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Healing is the best revenge.
Guest guest
Hi , > It's hard for me to decide when to go to the doctor too. I'll sit there Part of my decision, a *small* part, was based purely on the " stop coughing, I may catch something " comment at work. And I guess the rest is just when I feel that I absolutely *have* to. Anyway, the Doc gave me a new a new puffer thing brand name TILADE( drug called Nedocromil ). I had a chest extra set done today. And next Monday I have a set of lung function tests, and on Tuesday I may have some blood tests if necessary. I also get some super extra bells and whistles MULTIVITAMINS, some large dose Vitamin C, and finally I got some Echinacea. And as a bonus I for a rune talisman :-) Never can tell. Well, now you know I'm superstitious :-) Regards . ****************************************** Milton |santeri@... | ----------------------------------------------------------- http://www.eisa.net.au/~santeri =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

What multi-vitamins? And your doc let you have Echinacea? Let me know how it works cos I've asked my pharmacist about that and he told me to stay away from it. And speaking of coworkers, do you have problems with coworkers who refuse to cut down on their perfume. I have one coworker in the cubie next to me whom I'm asked to tone down her perfume. We got into a heated discussion about " rights " she has the right to smell nice vs my right to breathe. Duh!!!! Anyway her response was if her perfume bothered me so much I should just take more meds. <><><><><> <><><><><><> ~~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Healing is the best revenge. Guest guest
Diane, > My Doc gives me Tessalon Perles (sp?)...looks like a little tiny round > vitaman E pill for when the dry, hacking, non-productive cough hits from Is this a brand name or a specific drug name ? I can put the query to my doc on Tuesday. Tomorrow I am at the hospital. Tonight I am having very major problems because I can't clean my puffer thing for the new medication. I can't figure it out. I am a bit off the beam because I am having breathing problems ( not too severe ) but enough to really need the new medication. How do you clean a puffer thing ?? Regards . ****************************************** Milton |santeri@... | ----------------------------------------------------------- http://www.eisa.net.au/~santeri =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
