Hi ,

The Multi-vitamins are brand name SWISSE; It is over three times more

expensive than regular multi-vitamins. The formulas are male and female

specific, and include anti-oxidants, and herbs DAMIANA and SAW PALMETTO.

There are about 40 to 60 components in SWISSE. The docs I see know I take

multi-vitamins and seem to be okay with it. They seem to be concerned with

my difficulty in holding food down, so if I can absorb multi-vitamins then

that is the next best thing.

As for Echinacea... The place I go to is wholistic and uses western medicine

and a mix of everything else. I never asked for specific advice on

Echinacea, but so many have said that it is worth a try. I consulted a

Pharmacist who is also trained as a herbalist.

I plan to see a Chinese traditional Doc when I have the cash.

At this point my problems that are the worst or really the most prominent

are respiratory. And since I have no sense of smell, I can't tell if someone

has something I am allergic to or even if they are smoking behind me. But

the majority of people who know about my current difficulties will not smoke

around me. So if I have a person using something I am allergic to, all I

know is that I am sick and I end up vomiting. I can't trace the source of

the problem because I can't sniff it out.

Personally I would not put up with the person deliberately using something

that affected me. If the supervisor is sympathetic then I usually talk with

them. That is my only solution under those circumstances.

Right now I think that stress is a major factor.

Right now I feel fairly reasonable. But I have taken my new puffer

medication, multi-vits, vitamin C, and Echinacea.

I can keep you posted on what happens if you are interested. Most of my

steps forward are me doing things on my own initiative. I guess maybe that

is my own stubborn streak.

Regards

.

Nope, the supers aren't very sympathetic they solve every problem by

sticking you in a room someplace away from people. Although the day we

had the fire they let me go home instead of making me stay and work.

But they are real jerks about dealing with stuff and everytime I mention

the ADA they panic. A good example- I'm ADHD and every so often if i get

too excited and my voice gets loud. Well several of my coworkers have

complained, (never a client) and so I got called in on it. I told them

it was part of the ADD and that I was working on it but that it would

probably happen on occasion. There response was, well maybe you

shouldn't be working with people then. I mean let's forget that I have

16 years of counseling experience behind me, let's totally forget that

because of my ADD I run circles around my coworkers and lets forget

that because of my hyperactivity I have consistently for the last 4

years carried a higher case load than the others. I have 68 clients, the

others 23. No let's just forget all that and stick me in a mailroom

someplace. I've seen them do it twice in the last year to coworkers.

The one thing I have seen about management is that they never judge events

on reality.

Basic things like work load do not matter, and a whole list of other things

relevant to particular jobs are never taken into account.

I have a habit of taking on large workloads and bearing the brunt of my own

zealous-ness and most of the time , keen-ness just to get a job done the

best I can.

Being in a state of a happy medium has never been me. I seem to either go

into hyper-drive or shut down to neutral.
