Great day......crap night!

Hi Everyone,

Firstly thanks to all that came to the lunch yesterday. I had a

great time, even though I didn't really get a chance to talk to

anyone for more than a minute. It is amazing to me that after only

attending 2 previous lunches at how comfortable and 'at home' I feel

with all our members, each and every one is so friendly, caring and

unique. It was also really good to meet all the newbie's (I'm glad

you made the effort to come along), and also to get rid of a lot of

my clothes. Helen I am glad you love the purple dress it has been

sitting in my wardrobe untouched for years. If anyone needs a plus

size wedding dress in the future you know who to call!

Well I ended up letting head off for his ice hockey game

alone. My feet were aching and it was freezing out, so I decided I

would stay home curled up on the lounge, wrapped in my favorite

blanket, watch the loggies and get an early night.

All was going well until returned home just after 11pm,

with a blood soaked cloth at his mouth. 5 mins into the games, he

was stuck in the face with a hockey stick, both players traveling at

about 30kms towards each other- not good! So with large hole at the

side of his lip and cut to the side of his mouth we immediately

headed to the emergency room at the hospital.

To cut a long story short we were at the hospital from 11.30pm and

finally started heading for home, lots of needles and a few stitches

later, just after 3am!

We both finally collapsed into bed just before 4am. had a

sicky today from work and luckily I don't work Mondays, so we both

had a very nice sleep in till after midday.

Ghyll- I had specifically made a special trip to the atm to get out

$50 to give you for the conference deposit and of course I forgot to

give it to you. Sorry. Can you please email me your address or bank

account details so I can give it to you before I forget again? Thanks
