They cleaned their rooms, and then I came in when they left for school and cleaned right behind them. The whole house was organized, the kitchen walls were washed once a month, the meals were planned from menus, etc...Now I'm looking at my 21/2 yr old grandson dragging one toy after another into the living area, eating at the coffee table, and many other things. I think, on one hand, I just got mellow over the years, and, on the other hand, when you bend down and almost fall on your face when you go to pick up the floor, this might very well have something to do with the whole thing. Then again, I did not have one of my grown children living with me for years after my divorce, so my kingdom was totally my own during that time. I think that there are probably many facets to this.
