Guest guest
Ken would you mind checking with anyone who has CFIDS and gets the CFIDS Chronicle if they remember the oral surgeon in Atlanta that was trying out a drug a narcotic with a low abuse level at the time it was only available in injection but he was trying to get it in a new pill form that would dissolve under u r tongue. I have misplaced my info on him his name phone number and the drugs name. He did not go through with the study I don't believe but he told me he would be willing to work with my Dr to get her the info and what he knew and how to get it. If anyone has any of this info I need it ASAP Please Thanks Barb ---------- > > To: chronic_painonelist > Subject: Re: What to tell docs? > Date: Friday, September 11, 1998 7:03 AM > > > > The answer to dealing with new causes of pain is you do it very carefully. > You should have some attention to determine if there is anything more than > soft tissue damage. Guest guest
Would this be the Dr. Fey or Frey that is the subject of the big flame war on alt med.fibro? Seems they have been talking about some doc in Atlanta who is supposed to have a " cure " . You may want to check there and see if it's the same one. ~››~››~››~››~››~››~››~››~› Success is not measured by how well we deal with plan " A " but by how well we deal with plan " B " . ‹‹§‹‹§‹‹§‹‹§‹‹§‹‹§‹‹§‹‹§
Guest guest
Geesh...is there a flame war there too?Seems as if all the boards in war mode..arthritis too. Way to stressful for me...Even lurking is painful there!!! Uptight people...has to be one of my main pet peeves. You guys, seem so much more laid back here, thanks Lyn =^..^= " We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking up at the stars. Guest guest
Lyn, With folks like Ken, Mike, etc., we don't have a chance to get into a flaming fight. Anyway, the list is more about support than it is about arguing treatments. We represent so many different ailments particular treatments aren't as important as they might be on other lists. However, supporting and encouraging each other, is one of the characteristics of this list that keeps me coming back for more. Everyone gets a pat on the back...if you can reach that far. I may never leave! You are stuck with me! I had begun to get very disallusioned with support on the net, thanks all! Lyn " We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking up at the stars.
