Guest guest Posted September 28, 2001 Report Share Posted September 28, 2001 Mung bean sprouts worked great as a lacto-ferment! I bought a bag that was on its way out. I put 1/2 the bag in a qt. jar, covered with water and a little whey and the rest in the fridge. 3 days later, the ones in the jar were white, crisp and delicious.. perfect salad topping!
