Guest guest
All, I would think that anywhere would be excellent to walk. The mall has sights, sounds, and people and would be an invigorating environment for many I am sure. I have started walking outdoors and alone. However, I would think those so inclined and who enjoy walking with others as a social activity could benefit handsomely from such an arrangement. I would not knock it. FYI - In my younger years, I used to do orienteering in the " woods " and I promise I would prefer the mall to that... Never forget that time that guy in front of me fell down about 15 feet in a ravine and frankly if I had not seen him go off the deep end I would have been quick to join him. I think I prefer walking in my neighborhood for now and I do have a nature trail immediately adjoing my neighborhood so once I have gotten off to a point where I can do 3-5 or even 10 miles in a session, I expect I'll be using it. Let others walk anyway they can. Everyone has a different ideal venue. Guest guest
Only in America! How can someone consider a walk in the mall as their daily exercise? What about some fresh air? The only reason I can think of for not walking outside is if it dangerous for some reason. Bernd Yeah but how about a rainy day or snow? I see allot of elderly walking around the mall were I live.
