Guest guest
Hello, How would you understand the concept of " allergy reliever " . I would have thought it to include antihistamines, corticosteroid nasal sprays, etc. But in the quote below, the author seems to differentiate between " allergy relievers " and " medications that are available to relieve symptoms and inflammation of the eyes, nose and lungs. " The context is a patient information sheet about a clinical trial, here discussing the treatment alternatives if the patient chooses not to participate: " Alternatives to hyposensitization with the study product may include treatment with an allergy reliever or hyposensitization with a commercial product. Alternatively, a variety of medications are available to relieve symptoms and inflammation of the eyes, nose and lungs. " Any suggestions as to how this should be interpreted?
