Guest guest
Hi - , 4, will eat everything on her plate and then some (standing up on her chair - asking for more) until she sees someone else doing something else other than eating. She does not want to be left out of anything and since we don't let her walk around the house with food (we eat at the table only,) she will leave the table with some food on her plate - sometimes. I don't think she knows when she is full - sometimes she just puts food in her mouth to spit it out (which is very frustrating!) We don't have to monitor 's food intake yet because the food she loves are (mostly) the foods which are good for her - Fruits and Veggies, with French Fries and Chips thrown in for good measure. She is not a big cookie, candy or cake fan - but we will see how it goes when she gets older and peer values start playing a role. Darlene (Mom to , 6 and , 4) Re: newer to the group Carol, Tim also has always had trouble knowing when to stop eating. He just doesn't know when he is full! He will eat untill he makes himself sick. We are always having to monitor his intake and remind him what is enough. He doesn't have a weight problem, but a few years ago he was getting chunky. Does anyone else in the group feel the same way about their children? Do they not know when they are full? Kristy
