Guest guest
Am I right in that I think that you were on Prozac for many years and when you discontinued you developed genital anesthesia? I have been wondering why I didn't come down with genital anesthesia when I quit cymbalta cold turkey after being on zoloft/cymbalta for 9 straight years. In fact when I quit cymalta I could all of a sudden orgasm easily. But soon after that I got put on lexapro. And then - BAM - instant loss of all sensation. Which didn't surprise my doctor one bit. > > > > > > > > > > About a month ago I went to a natural pharmacist and he determined that I have hypothyroidism type 2 (something I always suspected I had but doctors always told me that my thyroid test results were " normal " )and low adrenal gland functioning (no surprise there). > > > > > > > > > > I mention this to you because a lot of your symptoms sound like signs of adrenal fatigue and hypothyroidism. Guest guest
Correct that I only got the genital anesthesia after quitting the prozac. I did not quit cold turkey, however, I tapered off over the course of 5 1/2 months.
