Guest guest Posted August 18, 1998 Report Share Posted August 18, 1998 Hi Diane, Glad you got some relief! I think it may well be possible to have a drawn-out, self-sustaining lung inflammation. This is a guess based on a problem caused causalgia. Causalgia is kind of a closed loop where a nerve is disturbed by a muscle which is disturbed by the nerve. The treatment is to break the cycle- pain killer or muscle relaxant, or both.
